Manchester united against Liverpool- Monday night.

Manchester united’s tittle credentials will be tested in our game against Liverpool on Monday night. We can expect heavy and intense pressing when we play at Anfield. Liverpool have been rampant  this season. Except for a 2-0 loss to Burnley , they have outrun, outpassed and out-tackled their opponents. They have beaten Arsenal, Leicester, and Chelsea and taken a point away at Tottenham Hotspur. They are playing  a high intensity tornado style. Particularly notable was their win against Arsenal. Klopp’s 4-3-3 formation helped Liverpool to a 4-3 victory at the Emirates. They lined up with a three-man midfield and it fueled an impressive win. Wijnaldum joined Henderson and Lallana in the middle of the park. Sadio Mane, Coutinho and Firmino formed a fluid forward line. With Henderson sitting deepest of Klopp’s three midfielders Lallana and Wijnaldum pushed forward in box to box roles pressing high off the ball and driving into the box in attack. Mane ‘s pace allowed him to drift off the shoulder of the Arsenal defence giving Liverpool an added dimension while Coutinho and Firmino intertwined drifting into pockets of space but all three playing close together , centrally. If Klopp adopt this lineup against us, Mourinho has to adopt tactics to counter this. Although Liverpool were thrilling against Arsenal, Leicester and Chelsea, their defence is shaky, thus that’s a plus on our part. Coming back to us, we have not been good enough since the start of the season, we struggled against City another side who press heavily. The question is how are we going to fare against Liverpool on Monday night? Which formation can help us to win at Anfield? Come on Manchester united fans let’s discuss.
